Reception and Dinner at the Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals
8pm-11pm, April 5,
2005
The
reception and dinner will be held in the Cullen Hall of Gems and
Minerals at the Houston Museum of
Natural Science. Imagine a glittering evening surrounded by some
of the world's rarest and most dazzling gems and minerals. Brilliant
gemstones, some the size of footballs, in dramatically lit display cases
provide the backdrop for the Conference Tuesday evening banquet. Mingle
with friends and colleagues, enjoy fine food and wines in the Cullen
Hall amid the spectacular collection. Part
of the Houston Museum of Natural Science, this incredible exhibit is the
home for one of the world's finest collections of more than 750
crystallized mineral specimens and such showstoppers as diamonds, rubies
and emeralds.
