Miami, Florida - February 15-19 2004

We are delighted to invite you to participate in IEEE sponsored Conference on Nanoscale Devices & System Integration (NDSI) in Miami, Florida, on February 15-19, 2004. The conference will be held in Hyatt-Regency in the beautiful downtown bayside area of the city of Miami.

The Nanotechnology Conference will focus on the Fabrication and Integration of Nanoscale Systems/Devices. Topics to be covered are

  • Communication and Information Technologies

  • NEMS/MEMS devices

  • CNT devices and materials

  • Nanowires/Nanotubes/Nanodots

  • Nanoscale Circuits

  • Nanoscale Magnetic Applications

  • Nanophotonics

  • Nano-Fuel Cell

  • Nanofabrication

  • Nanoscale Computing and Modeling

  • Nanorobotics

  • Nanoscale Metrology and Characterization

  • Spintronics

  • Spin-polarized Devices

  • Bioengineering

  • Lab-on-a-Chip

  • Nanobiology

  • Molecular and Genomic Engineering

  • Superconducting Nanoscale Devices

The purpose of the conference is to identify priorities in today’s fairly broad range of choices in Nanoscale Device Fabrication and Integration.

Digest Submission Deadline: October 20, 2003

The single-session format of the conference will allow every attendee to participate in every presentation and obtain the most objective point of view on the main topics.  Three and a half days of the conference will include approximately 40 invited talks during the morning sessions and 100 selected contributed poster presentations in the afternoon sessions. Numerous half-hour breaks between sessions and evening poster presentations in the well-accepted tradition of the past IEEE conferences (www.napmrc.org) will guarantee productive discussions between participants.  Additional exhibits by Companies will help to find the common ground between the advanced research and the real-life needs.  The invited and selected contributed papers will be published in a special issue of Nanotechnology, the most senior periodical of its kind.
Special thanks to Amado Gonzalez, Disa and Tom Petrola
